Shipping Policy – Live Fish & Aquatic Animals


Thank you for choosing Golden Guppy's Garden! We take pride in providing healthy, vibrant aquatic life. Please read our shipping policy carefully before ordering.


Processing & Shipping Schedule

• Processing Time: Orders are prepared and shipped Monday ONLY to avoid weekend delays in transit.

• Cut-off Time: Orders placed after 12 PM Central time on Sunday will be shipped the following week.

• We will email you tracking information once your order ships.

• If we are waiting on growth of our live animals, causing a delay, you will be notified and may ask for a refund.

• Live plants are also shipped on Monday only.

• Non-living items (such as stickers, minerals, clothing, etc.) Will be shipped any day (Monday-Saturday.) IF no live animals are included.


Shipping Methods

• Priority Overnight or 2-Day Shipping is strongly recommended for live animals to ensure their safety.

• HOWEVER, this means 2 days shipping AFTER the Monday they are shipped (LIVE PLANTS/ANIMALS ONLY)

• Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

• Weather Hold: If temperatures are extreme at your location or ours, we may delay shipping for the safety of your animals. We will contact you in this case.


Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee live arrival on all livestock orders when:

• You are present to receive the shipment on the first delivery attempt.

• You notify us within 2 hours of delivery (with clear photos of any issues).

If DOA (Dead on Arrival) occurs:

• Please email [your email address] with: 

• Photos of the unopened bag showing the deceased animal(s)

• A clear photo of the shipping label

• We will issue a store credit or replacement (excluding shipping costs), per our discretion.

Note: We cannot guarantee live arrival if:

• Delivery is delayed due to incorrect address or recipient not being available.

• The package is left outside in extreme temperatures.


Shipping Areas

• We currently ship live animals within [your country or states/regions] only.

• We do not ship livestock internationally due to customs restrictions.


Tracking & Receiving

• You will receive a tracking number by email.

• Please be prepared to receive and acclimate your animals immediately upon arrival.


Heat & Cold Packs

• We automatically include heat or cold packs as needed, based on weather conditions, at no extra charge.
